The original Keyways Vineyards were planted in the mid 1960’s to determine the viability of establishing a Wine Country in the Temecula Valley. In 1989, Carl Key, an Orange County restaurateur and real estate investor, opened Keyways Winery. His vision was to create premium varietals and estate wines from the emerging Temecula Wine Country as well as from other California appellations.

Our flower-laden gazebo and unique outdoor tasting barn overlook stunning Arabian horses grazing in pasture.
