About Website.
Castle Douglas provides
fully-customized wedding services and event planning in an exclusive castle setting for
brides, executives, and individuals seeking the perfect venue for their private events in the
Dallas Metroplex area.
Our Manager, Charlotte Dumford, grew up in Rockwall and has long aspired to build a castle
venue for weddings in Rockwall. Rockwall is currently the fastest-growing county in the United
States, and part of Castle Douglas' mission is to provide Rockwall County and its environs
with a facility capable of hosting large-scale weddings and events close to home. Currently,
Rockwall residents must travel significant distances to reach first-class facilities in Dallas
and surrounding areas if they wish to host a large-scale event. Thus, we provide the community
of Rockwall with a service not available anywhere else in our area.
Castle Douglas will also periodically host invitation-only "Open Castle" tea parties
for prospective clients identified through our website, our attendance at trade shows in the
Dallas area, and by word-of-mouth. If you are interested in attending a Castle Douglas tea
